Hampi is a city in ruins of vijayanagara kingdom. at that time its capital of vijayanagara kingdom.hampi is also known as kishkinda,. the birth place of god hanuman. its reference we found in the ramayana also, as its a kingdom of monkey king sugriv and vali. city is ruin but still the its stones and structures have lot to tell about. they have there own stories. they saw years passing in front of them. they are like elder people who have lots of experiences and stories to tell young once.
like that city told me lots of stories through silent room, through people, ect. also with observation, feel the carvings, sensing surrounding i learnt lots of things. i chose research subject as architecture and history of vijayanagatra. so there were lots of things to find. i was started with the basics and then moved on in deep. as a lotus, one one petal opes and we can see the colours and sheds, like that as i went deep in history i saw the real beauty, the colours and mystery behind the mythical stories.
this city gives me the bag full of memories, lovable people and also a big box of learning. i felt in love with this city. it connects me to city in present and also in the past. its a experience which i will never forget…..
